I’m a self-proclaimed “soulful” storyteller. I'm not a big fan of basic marketing jargon and 5-point listicles (though yes, of course, I've written both)—I love personal and professional tales with heart and truth. I love feelings and vulnerability and messiness, and I’m crazy about the connection that comes from writing (and reading!) both.

The quality of Jenna’s work is literally always spot on. I know that if I hand her a set of ideas, she will flesh them out in a way that most resonates with my audience and perfectly captures my voice. She easily expresses the heart and inspiration in my work. Her presence allows me to do more of what I really love—work one on one with my clients. And then, of course, she is just a lovely, inspiring soul herself . . . I don’t know what I would do without her.

Writing

I write feature articles and personal essays, on topics ranging from marketing and social media to personal and spiritual development to architecture and design to career development and more.

My work has been featured in Salon, Thought Catalog, The Everygirl, The Muse, and more. You can find all of my published work here.

To contact me about writing an article or an essay, please send me a message or email me directly: jenna@jennabritton.com.

A true storyteller, Jenna’s talk at TEDxPasadenaWomen blew us away. Her story was vulnerable, engaging, poignant, relatable, and often funny, too! And she was incredible behind-the-scenes, too—meeting our deadlines, showing up to practice sessions, incorporating feedback, and responding immediately to every email. I so admired her prose and her poise while she was up on stage, and her professionalism and positivity throughout the entire process. It was an honor to get to know her and work alongside of her!

Speaking

I speak at conferences and events about telling your story (personally or professionally, as an individual or a business) to build connection, trust, and understanding. I also speak about how changing your stories can change your life.

Teaching

In my in-person workshop experiences, I lead people in writing and storytelling exercises that help them share their stories.

I have learned and grown and changed through the stories of other people and through sharing my own: I have felt less alone, I have felt understood, I have learned more about—and continued to become—the person that I want to be.

I hope to offer that same growth, learning, and understanding to you through my in-person workshops. Stay tuned for more information on how we can write and tell stories together in 2019!
